What ages is it best for?

Is it safe for my child to use alone?
Yes. There are no ads, no data collection, and it includes learning-management features.
Can I choose American or British English?
Yes. You can learn in the English variety you prefer.
Do I need a subscription?
No. A one-time purchase gives you lifetime access.
Can I try it before purchasing?
Yes. After installing, you can use some content for free.
[Same OS sync] I purchased on my phone. Can my child use it on a tablet?
Yes, if both devices are Android or both are iOS.

Purchases are tied to the same Google/Apple account, so sign in to the Play Store/App Store on the other device with the account used to purchase and then download the app.

Sync may take some time. If it takes more than a day, tap the "Purchase Package" button to restore (no additional charge).
If it still doesn't sync, please contact contact@lingoany.com.
[Different OS sync] I purchased on Android. Can I use it on an iPad?
No. Android and iOS purchases can't be shared across operating systems.
If you want to use both, you'll need to purchase separately in the Play Store and the App Store.
We recommend purchasing on the device your child will use most.
[iOS] There's no sound on iPhone/iPad.
On iOS, several settings can affect sound. Please check the following.

If you see a bell icon in Control Center (swipe down from the top right):
If the bell icon has a slash through it, turn Silent Mode off.
When it's slashed, you may hear general audio (e.g., YouTube) but not in-app game sounds.

If you don't see the bell icon:
Go to Settings > Control Center and add 'Silent Mode' to Included Controls.
Then swipe down again and make sure the bell icon is not slashed. Sound should work normally.
Can I purchase using my child's (Kids) account?
Purchases may not work on Kids accounts (under age 14).
If the device is using a Kids account, please sign in to the store temporarily with a parent/adult account, download the app, and complete the package purchase.
After the download and purchase are finished, you may switch the store account back to the Kids account.
[Family Library] Can I share the purchase with Family Sharing?
No. Because LingoAny uses in-app purchases (not a paid app download), it doesn't support Family Library/Family Sharing for purchased content.
[Progress sync] If I link a new device, will previous learning progress sync?
No. Learning progress is stored per device, so children can use the app independently on each device.
[Progress reset] If I reinstall the app or reset the device, what happens to progress?
Reinstalling the app or resetting the device will also reset learning progress.
[iOS refund] I paid on iPhone/iPad-can I get a refund?
Refunds are available only within 7 days of purchase.
On the Apple App Store, refunds must be requested directly from Apple.

Go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com
Sign in with the Apple ID used to purchase.
Select "Request a refund".
Choose a reason, select the item, then tap "Submit".
Apple will email a confirmation, and processing may take some time.
[Android refund] I purchased on Android-can I get a refund?
Refunds are available only within 7 days of purchase.
For Google Play refunds, please email contact@lingoany.com with the app name you want to refund and your Order ID (usually starts with "GPA."), and we will guide you.
[Android refund] I contacted Google about a refund-when will I receive it?
If you requested the refund directly from Google, we can't track or resubmit the request.
Contacting Google is often fastest, but refunds may still take some time to process.
